About Us
More Than Streetwear. It's a Movement.
🖤 About Us: ASweARE Collective
Welcome to ASweARE Collective—where streetwear meets storytelling, and fashion becomes a movement.
We didn't start this journey to chase trends. We started ASweARE Collective because we wanted more than cool clothes; we wanted to create a space where culture, activism, and style intersect. We’re here to honor the roots, embrace the present, and shape the future.

Meet Our Founder: Liz Adjei
About the Founder
Hi, I’m Liz Adjei—founder of ASweARE Collective. I was born and raised in Toronto more specifically Rexdale, where the energy of the city and the diversity of the community shaped who I am today. My passion for streetwear started with styling everyday pieces that made me feel seen—pieces that told a story without saying a word.
At the heart of our logo is the Nkonsonkonson symbol—an Adinkra symbol from Ghana (West Africa) that represents unity, community, and the importance of togetherness. This is my nod to my Ghanaian roots and the belief that we are all connected, stronger together, just like the community that raised me.
ASweARE is more than just a name; it's personal. It carries my mother’s last name, Asare, as a nod to the legacy of strong women who came before me. The logo? It’s inspired by my love for streetwear, Black culture, and the sense of community that made my childhood neighborhood feel like family.
This brand is my way of giving back to the culture that raised me, the city that shaped me, and the community that continues to inspire me. Thank you for being here. For being part of this movement. For showing up for the culture.
So, go ahead—explore our collections, join the community, and wear your values proudly.
For the culture. For the community. For you.
🖤 Stay bold. Stay rooted. Stay ASweARE.
